About Legacy Veterinarian

Founded in 2011, Legacy Veterinarian began as a small practice serving the Montford neighborhood. Dr. Sarah Wilson noticed Asheville's active pet owners needed specialized care for hiking companions and city-dwelling animals alike.

We take time to understand each pet's lifestyle - whether they're exploring the Blue Ridge trails or enjoying downtown's dog-friendly patios. Our team completes regular training on seasonal hazards like ticks and winter joint care.

Supporting local animal rescues and hosting low-cost vaccination clinics reflects our commitment to Buncombe County's pet community. We're proud to sponsor Asheville Humane Society's adoption events.
